30+ Beauty Maintenance
Beauty is Health and Health is Beauty, so here are some Beauty Hints for the us old people .. thirty and over.

1. Drink Plenty of Water.
Water is essential to your skins elasticity and tone.

2. Get The Right Haircut!
Having teenage length hair won't make you a teenager. It will draw down your facial features when you should be visually lifting them up. It will also emphasize the changing condition of your hair due to age .. drier and lacking luster.  So do your face and your hair a favor... shoulder length maximum and probably much shorter. Consult your hairdresser. He/she knows what cuts will give a lift to your face.


3. Consult (meaning visit) A Cosmetician
One of the latest treatments available in the UK is a bio-oxygen facial. Find out more about bio-oxygen facials by searching the internet. Right now there are only about 9 links. Of course, you will have to go by what treatments are available in your country and with the cosmetician you choose. This website makes no facial recommendations... only leads to information. Most of the information available via the internet is in the form of advertisements from the UK. 4. Try to control the cellulite

* Drink plenty of water
* Exercise.
* Adapt a low-fat diet.
* Massage may help. So try self-massage to your lets a few minutes a day.

5. Exercise!

Exercise (consult your physician!) improves circulation and eliminates toxins, regulates breathing and heart rate. That's how exercise slows down the aging process.

Excercise doesn't have to be in a gym. Walking (briskly)  and gardening. If you suffer from anything condition or don't have sufficient data on your present health (i.e. you haven't had a go-ahead from your doctor lately) get a check-up and an okay before starting any exercise program!


6. Exfoliate at home

Your skin's ability to rid itself of dead skin cells decreases with age. If you are over thirty, there is little doubt that your skin needs your help in this area. There are many over the counter products that will help you remove dead cells from your skin. So unblock those pores, get maybe a few fine lines and wrinkles at the same time. The cosmetic counter lady will help you choose a quality product.

7. Give your skin the sleep it needs.

Skin repair and rejuvenation take place while you are sleeping. Consequently, lack of sleep can cause premature aging of the skin.

8. Check your Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an Antioxidants. Free radicals are important components of the aging process and Antioxidants (such as Vitamin E) protect us free radicals.

Vitamin E reduces collagen damage and therefore we wrinkle less (i.e. Prevention). But vitamin also helps us build new cells and it works against damage from the sun.

How can we get more Vitamin E?? Rich sources are nuts, avocados and ess fattening green leafy vegetables. When you are looking for facial, eye or neck creams and gels, be sure to give consideration to those containing vitamin E.

9. Avoid overexposure to the sun!

Besides dangers of skin cancer, over-exposure to sun ages skin and makes it sag. Try make-up! It's healthier.


10. Protect and enhance your smile!

Most people can be helped by a good whitening toothpaste. For serious cosmetic dental problems, check with your dentist. Of course, regular visits to your dentist and dental hygienist (according to need) are essential to your future dental health and your beautiful, natural smile.


11. Don't smoke.

If the danger of cancer and the dangers you are causing to those around you don't motivate you around, take a look at the irreverible lines accruing to your oral area (around your mouth).

12. Age Gracefully

As my Aunt Frances (of blessed memory) used to say... there's only one alternative to aging and it's not preferable!

Recent studies indicate that positive attitudes regarding aging actually correlate with a longer life. So love your still-developing self .. whether you are thirty or 120 .. and get to enjoy life longer.
